And my dog goes after poop like a junkie after the rock.
A trip to the dog park = poop buffet = shit-vomit on our carpet. We call it "shomit". My boss is no longer all that interested in why I need to work from home any more, I think I've grossed him out with my tales of shomit.

Sat, February 2, 2008 - 7:59 PMYeah, I know, I just meant that because of schedules & finances & such, most of us Anayalators probably can't do two festivals that close together.
I am supposed to be in Alabama for work in August and might be able to combine the two, but it's extremely up-in-the-air right now. I'll have to wait until later in the year to get more info before I can make a decision. It sounds like a cool event! -

Sat, February 2, 2008 - 9:54 PMi know its like a southern tribal fest. i really was oping to make TF this year, but that got scratched as a friend of mine asked me to be in her wedding, and, of course, is the same weekend as TF. POOO! Ahh well, Atlanta is closer, and if i can't find someone to go with ,i can always catch a flight or the hound. -

Mon, February 4, 2008 - 9:11 AMAnyway, on 2/9 at 2:00 there is classical Indian dance at Robert Walters College, and since AG will be performing up in Blue Ash anyway, I'm going to try to get to see that. But I probably won't. At least I'm thinking I want to try.
And on 2/10 at 12:30 Na Mea Hula is dancing at the Freedom Center.
There are also mini-workshops and performances at the Contemporary Dance Theatre up in College HIll on 2/10 from 12:00 - 2:00.
Of course, there's lots of great stuff happening all the way across town right while I'm performing. Oh well. At least I've got some sort of a game plan this year and might actually get to see some stuff. Or food and drinks will take over as they inevitably do after a performance.

Mon, February 4, 2008 - 10:18 AMI am going to see the Cultural Center of India dance at the Art Museum on saturday at 4:00 PM.
They are dancing at 2:00 PM also , but I have African Dance Class from 12:30 - 1:55 , probaly be best if I shower before going out in public. -

Robyn, do you mind if I include this info in my newsletter? I'm going to send out "Dharmaluna Bellydance Newsletter" every couple weeks regarding bellydance, fire spinning, fine arts, etc. events in the area. It's nothing fancy but I thought it would be helpful to my students and friends to know when some bellydance events are going on.
I'm off work Friday but I might come down just to see you guys and I HATE coming downtown when I don't have to. :)
Stop at Midnight Muse in Tower Place Mall downtown if you have the chance. My friends Tess & Matthew own it and it's a lovely store.
